Can you send me info on your development? Please understand that we are a private not for profit airpark. We cannot mail out information to individuals due to the cost of printed materials and postage. We do provide this website for this purpose and other types of information. Usually January and February overnight is in the high 30's to 40's F. We have seen it 28 F overnight but only a few times. It always warms up to at least mid 50's F during the coldest day. See our current weather page for more information.» What is the ballpark figure for a single plane hangar and modest home on the lot? It really depends on what you build. I've seen hangers go up for about 20K and homes (if you do a new manufactured) can be had for about 40K. The high end is limitless with the latest homes and hangers being exceptional. » What area activities (golf, tennis, hunting, fishing...) are nearby? Since we are on the border of Putnam and Alachua Counties we have some of the best Bass fishing in the country. Hunting for deer, wild boar, and turkey is also very popular in the area. Guide services for both hunting and fishing are available in the area. There are eleven golf courses within a 25 mile radius of the community. Nearby Gainesville has several tennis clubs available. » What are the community fees? As of January 1, 2003 it is $25.00 per year. As of January 1, 2003 it is $67.50 per year. »
Do you have lots for sale? Since all lots have been sold from the original developer, we have no way to know who is currently selling except by word of mouth. We do intend to add a section on this site for property owners to list their real estate for sale. » What is the average size of the lots? Lots range from about 2 to 5 acres. »

Lot map? Right now the only place to get a lot map is the Putnam county planning and zoning department. The toll free number there is 800-432-0364. We do plan to add one on this site. » How much if any, of a down payment is required to purchase a lot, or is the whole purchase price needed? Well, usually the whole purchase price is required. Unless you can work out a deal with the seller. We have seen quite a few owners hold paper. » What are the average lot prices? All lots are owed by private owners at this time and they range from 50K up to about 125K. »

Your best bet is to contact the local real estate agents. » What is the minimum square footage for building a home on one of the lots? The old provisions allow for a NEW mobile home minimum of 672sq ft. Although lately all of the new lot owners are putting up nice homes and the prices are rising. The last house built was over 300K. » How long can I wait before I build on the property? There is no waiting period. » Do you sell avgas on the property? No. There is discounted fuel available 24 hours a day less than 12 miles North at a county airpark called Keystone Heights (42J ) which is paved and lighted. » If I live off airport is there provisions for aircraft tie-downs? Tie downs are available ONLY to Association members at about $260 per year and at present we have no plans for any shade hangars. Provisions allow for the member to put a hanger up with association approval. |
